Mansour Rahbani’s new historical epic musical focuses on the dramatic life of Zenobia, queen of the ancient kingdom of Palmyra, and her brave confrontation with the forces of almighty Rome. Zenobia came to represent the first voice of liberation in the East, her courageous refusal to submit to the greatest empire in History is a testimonial to the exceptional power women came to wield in the realms of leadership, courage, wisdom and determination.
